Contentment in giving Him control

Controlthe power to influence or direct people's behavior or the course of events.
Contentment: Contentment is true peace of mind and has absolutely nothing to do with any external pleasure or condition, but rather your attitude.

Allowing the Lord to take you by your dominant hand. Fully allowing him to take control of everything  that is being held on tightly in the palm of your hand.

Giving the Holy Spirit control of your strength, your experience, your knowledge and submitting to his goodness, to His authority, to his Lordship. Allowing Him to lead you. Fully lead you, without restraint.

Fully surrendering and allowing you to come to a place of utter worship. Not a worship that subliminally wants a blessing in return. But being in a place where every thing is submitted, every thought is taken captive, every desire is surrendered. A place where it is well with your soul. A place where your soul is fully content- no matter the outcome, even if the healing does not come, even if the questions aren’t answered.  But in a place where your spirit rejoices in praise to the Only Lord God Almighty. A place where your lungs produce a sweet aroma of praise even in pain. A place where the sovereignty of the Lord reigns and all attention is undivided. A sacrifice of praise. A contentment in giving him Full control.

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10

“When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought joy to my soul.” Psalm 94:19

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1
